Religious Reading

23 Jul

My friend was amazed a few months ago when I was able to guess what religious tradition most matched her beliefs system.  It was half luck and half the fact that I think about God and the universe a lot.  I thought everyone did, but it turns out this is one more way I’m an anomaly.  I’m reading a book right now that I love and it make me think of other, religiously oriented books I have read and really enjoyed.

So here are five that I thought of off the top of my head.  If you want more recommendations, let me know because I literally have read hundreds of books about Judaism, less about other religions.

I bought My Name is Asher Lev from a used bookstore here in Lincoln! It’s an old copy, in all of its 1972 splendor.
