If you were hoping to buy some romaine lettuce, do it today. So so cold here–longest cold snap in my lifetime–and all the lettuce is being destroyed. And Yuma lettuce is what you are all eating this winter, in case you didn’t already know.
I only eat spinach (since I eat very few important vegetables) so I’ll be ok. But you iceberg and romaine folks, get out the wallets. I’m preparing you and hope you appreciate it.
In similar news, I’m so cold. I sometimes don’t give Owen his meds to get his (still here) fever down just because his hot body warms me up. I’m such a good mom! At least I feed him spinach.
You crack me up! I sometimes wonder how Isaac sleeps in his freezing room. Until I lay down next to him.
